Steelhead Falls, Upper Deschutes River Valley, Oregon

In December 2005, I and my family traveled North to Bend, Oregon to visit our friends, Mark and Linda Quon. While there we joined the outdoor life writer for the Bend Bulletin, Jim Witty, on one of his weekly expeditions into the wilderness surrounding Bend. He asked if he could use one of my pictures in his story on our destination, Steelhead Falls, for the January 4, 2006 edition of the paper. I gladly obliged. My photo (as well as a photo of me) appeared on the front page of the Community Life section of the paper on January 4, 2006, but also above the headlines on the front page of the paper(!).
